Our cabins and suites can sleep from 2-9 people, depending on the unit rented. All, except Mountain Retreat, have fully-equipped kitchens and private baths. 
A continental breakfast awaits you in the room, along with coffee, and satellite TV. For the RV travelers, we have two RV parking spots, with picnic tables and water, sewer, and electric hook-ups. In addition, we have a community hot tub and a beautiful new covered Pavilion with gas
and wood firepit. Our resort is situated on 4 acres, with plenty of wooded area to take a hike and enjoy the natural beauty.
The Outback is not only a great place to experience the “Idaho Outback,” but it is also a great place to get together with the family and friends for a reunion or retreat. We strive to maintain a family atmosphere and children are always welcome!
If you are having a reunion, retreat, or just need a place for a large group to meet, we can assist you in reserving the Pierce Community Center. The Center has a gymnasium, full kitchen and two large meeting rooms, as well as an Olympic size swimming pool, which is open during the summer. Directly across from the center is the Pierce Play Park. The playground features lots of safe play equipment, in addition to a baseball diamond, picnic area and clean restrooms.

Log Lodge
Log Lodge’s Photos & Details
The Log Lodge is an open floor plan. A curtain separates the two Queen beds on the main floor. A ladder leads to the open loft that contains four twin mattresses. The bathroom features two separate shower stalls. A cozy gas fireplace heats the lodge. The kitchen comes fully equipped with place setting for twelve and includes a dishwasher. A new private 4-person hot tub sits on the porch. Rates for the Lodge are: $150 if one Queen is used, $175 if both Queens are used plus $10 each additional person. There are two roll-a-ways also available. There may be a $50. 00 ‘party fee’ or ‘Wedding fee’ if many additional people are enjoying the amenities, but not staying over.

Uptown

Uptown Front
The Outback Uptown is located at 113 S. Main Street, less than a block from The Outback and right in the center of Pierce, between the Post Office and White Pine Credit Union. A uniquely constructed 1920’s concrete-cast building, newly renovated to house a beautifully decorated, comfortable guest house that will sleep up to six people. Amenities include a four-poster queen bed, queen hide-a-bed, a bunk room, a complete kitchen, private bath with large shower, Wi-fi, and a large screen satellite TV. Guests are welcome to use all of The Outback’s outdoor amenities, including the large hot tub. The Rates are $120 for the Queen, $20 additional for the hide-a-bed, and $25 additional for the bunk room. Pets are not allowed in the Uptown.

Mountain Retreat

Two handcrafted Northwest Red Cedar log cabins located at 100 Alpine Court, one mile north of Pierce. Enjoy a quiet, peaceful setting with a view of Shanghai Mountain. Each cabin contains a comfortable queen bed and a set of bunks, a small private bathroom, and kitchenette with a dorm-size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot, and satellite TV. Each cabin has a BBQ grill on the porch and an outdoor fire pit. Guests may also use the Hot Tub, phone and wireless internet located at The Outback main property. Rates are $60 per night for the Queen bed (1-2 people); $5 for each additional person/bed.

The Cottonwood House is a duplex located one mile north of Pierce.
Unit A, on the back side, away from the road, features a tree lined, secluded, spacious gravel yard for outside summer relaxation or watching birds and deer at their feeders. The interior is beautifully decorated with wildlife décor featuring unique and original art pieces crafted by metal artist, John Bergen. The one bedroom includes a queen bed, a twin bed, writing desk, large closet and electric fireplace. There is a private bathroom with shower; open living area with nicely equipped kitchen, dining table and comfortable, overstuffed couch and recliner, a large screen TV with Dish Satellite and DVD player. Rates start at $140 per night, $155 if twin is also used, $10 each additional person.

Unit B of the Duplex is described as a Studio apartment because the two Queen beds are in the open living area, which also contains leather couch and recliners, dining table, satellite TV, propane stove and lots of storage cabinet units. The kitchen is in a separate room and includes a stacked washer/dryer. A large bathroom features a bath tub and separate shower. John Bergen’s beautiful art work decorates the walls throughout. A connected one-car garage is brightly lit, well insulated and can serve as additional sleeping area, with futon couches. Rates are $120 per night for the Queen bed, $145 for both Queens, $10 for each additional person (roll-a-ways and futons are available).
